Where Did KB Evans Come From?
She’s gifted with a soulful sound, K.B is a singer, recording artist and entertainer.
KB Evans born LaKiya Blissit was rooted in the Church of God in Christ. She has always been an active participant in church’s musical departments. She is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend who has been singing since the tender age of four years old. KB Evans has always had a passion to sing and entertain others.
As a preteen, LaKiya was apart of the internationally renowned Children’s Gospel Choir, “Soul Children of Chicago.” The choir introduced children to a world of music and people they probably would never see. Through opportunities, she was able to sing behind singers such as Tramaine Hawkins, Gladys Knight, Delion Richards, Whitney Houston, The Caravans and so many more.
KB Evans did not concentrate on gospel music alone, she practiced genres such as jazz, rhythm & blues and neo-soul. As she explored new music doors started to open and opportunities started to thrive.
